One of the most popular Hungarian tourist spots is Szilvásvárad, in the Szalajka Valley.
The program:
Meeting point at the forrest light railway station, ride up the Szalajka Valley. At the fascinating natural wonder, Fátyol (Veil) Waterfall, on a large meadow after having home made palinka, the guests roast for themselves trout.
Optional program visiting the
prehistoric men's cave.
Afterwards walking through the forest, down the Szalajka Valley, getting to know the characteristic wildlife of the Bükk mountain.
- In case of rainfall: riding with bus
Additional program offers:
- sightseeing in the Bükk mountain by bus
- visiting the Abbey in Bélapátfalva (built in the 1200s) and the prehistoric men's cave
- journey by carriage or, in winter, by horse-sledge to the Bükk plateau; at best, meet the herd of Lippizan horses pasturing freely
- looking at the Lippizan horses, stable and museum
The price includes the driver, the parking and motorway expenses.
